Rivets-nuts are a progressive type of fasteners, which allows not only to fasten two elements, but also to obtain an internal thread at the point of connection. Products are indispensable in the manufacture of tools, household and industrial appliances, in the automotive industry. They are a good substitute for a welded nut. They can be used both for fastening and simply for obtaining internal threads on a thin sheet base.

The rivet-nut is installed using a special rivet, the mouthpiece (tip) of which has an external thread. The rivet screwed onto the mouthpiece is inserted into the prepared hole. With the movement of the handles, the rivet is activated - the rivet-nut is compressed along the deformable part and forms a shoulder on the reverse side of the fastened sheets. The support on the front side is the head, which can be flat, hidden. Rivet nuts with a secret head give a more aesthetic and trauma-safe connection, but before installing them in the front side, the hole requires yawning.
